DAVE IS MOVING TO MADONNA REHABILITATION TOMORROW!!!!!!
Thank you Lord Jesus! We have been waiting for this huge step and here it is! We are rejoicing! Dave definitely isn't out of the woods but what a step in the right direction! We truly appreciate your prayers! God is so good!

To Dave and all who love him,

Our absence of written encouragement on the blog does not represent in any form indifference to your situation nor lack of thinking of you and praying for you and the family daily. We will speak to that one day when we see you face to face.

It has been warming to read the blog these past several days.......so many little yet BIG things to rejoice about. Fantastic news about your transfer to Madonna; yet another step closer to home.

We hope this move to Madonna has you and the family all pumped up; I'm going to be bold and speak for several of your prayer warriors..........I'd say we are CHARGED by the answer to prayers!!!!

Praise God for His watchful eye over you and the family these past weeks; even though you experienced extreme pain, progress, setbacks, ups, downs, every emotion in-between and perhaps moments when you wondered where God was, by His promises we all know He was forever there and will be for all time as you complete your recovery.

After a week of County Fair with Molly we haven't been able to keep up on the blog. What do you know, we pulled it up today and look what we see. **Please pray for Dave as he possibly has a blood clot in his left arm. Answer: Dave does have a blood clot in his left arm, but it isn't in a surface vein and not in his shoulder. The "best" place to have a clot.
**Please pray Dave's hiccups would stop so they doctors can put in a central line (for IV fluids). Answer: The hiccups did stop around 10:00 pm on 7/14. Still no central line yet.
**Please continue to pray for proper function of Dave's organs.

**PRAISE- Dave was able to get out of bed, he sat in a chair for over 2 hours!!!!!

**Please continue to pray Dave will feel God's peace when using the bipap machine. Answer: It went fairly well this afternoon. The doctors may have decided to give Dave a break as it has been almost 6 hours since the last treatment.
**PRAISE- Dave was able to stand up during PT!

**Please pray for the infectious disease doctors in choosing the most effective antibiotic. Answer: The doctors decided NOT to start Dave on another antibiotic. Please continue to pray for wisdom.
**Please pray for comfort for Dave.
**Please pray the doctors will be able to see with God's eyes and won't miss any details. Answer: The doctors did find some fluid in his abdomen that they removed on 7/9.
**Please pray the CT scan will go well. Answer: Dave's organs look just as good or better than they did before!
**Please continue to pray Dave's temperature would come down.
**Please continue to pray that Dave's white blood count would increase and the rash would diminish.

**PRAISE- Dave remains in good spirits despite not feeling well, what an awesome testimony!

**Please pray that the procedure will go well.Answer: The PICC was placed in his arm and the port removed from his chest. Thank you for your prayers.

**PRAISE- Dave is responding to commands and becoming more conscious.

**Please pray that Dave's bile leak will not require surgery.

**Please pray that Dave's white blood count will continue to decrease.
**Pray that Dave's pancreatitis will calm down.
**Pray that Dave will be able to continue on dialysis and his vitals would remain strong.

**Please pray - Dave's temperature continues to rise as does his heart rate. His blood pressure is okay. Answer: After using a coooling blanket, Dave's temperature and heart rate are now within an acceptable range.
**Our other requests remain the same. Thank you for your continued prayers.

**Please pray that Dave's white blood count will decrease.
**Pray that Dave's pancreatitis will calm down.
**Pray that Dave will be able to continue on dialysis and his swelling will go down. Answer: Dave was able to continue on dialysis all day.
**Pray that Dave's heart will remain strong and regular. Answer: The EKG tests came back normal.

**PRAISE- Dave's numbers look better.
**PRAISE- Dave's liver continues to function at an acceptable level.

**Pray that the surgery today is successful, with no complications. That Dr Young, Dr Grant, Dr Hutchens, and the other doctors will have the eyes of God. Answer: The doctors said the surgery went well. They were able to accomplish a little more than planned.
**Pray for Dave's stability and healing. Answer: Dave received more oxygen during surgery. Please continue to pray for his blood pressure, heart rate, and white blood count.

James 5:16 The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

**Dave has acute kidney failure and the doctors started him on dialysis. Please pray that Dave's body responds in a positive way. Answer: Dave responded well to the dialysis and his numbers are better! Dialysis took off 3 liters of fluid, approximately 7 lbs!
**The doctors would like to perform surgery again either yet today or tomorrow. They plan to open him back up, look everything over, and 'flush everything out'. Please pray that the surgery is successful, with no complications. Surgery is Thursday at 10:30am
**Please continue to pray for the infection.

**PRAISE- Dave's liver continues to function at an acceptable level.
**PRAISE- Dave's vitals remain stable.

**Dave has developed a pretty severe infection, pray that the antibiotics would be successful.
**That Dave's kidneys would function effectively so he would not have to go on dialysis.
**That Dave's liver would continue to function at a level that would not require surgery any time soon.
**Wisdom for the doctors.
**Continued strength, healing, and comfort for Dave.
