Wednesday, July 30th
Dave's white blood count is up to 3,600!!!! His temperature is 99.7. Dr Smith, ID team, said Dave didn't have to worry about the bone marrow biopsy! PTL. He also said Dave has bile leaking in his abdomen. The bile is coming out both drain tubes, the t-tube designed to drain the bile and also the tube that drains from his abdomen. He said the trauma team is taking a "wait and see" approach, hoping the leak will heal itself. Dave was not in as much pain today and had fewer hiccup episodes! Dave had dialysis this morning for 4 hours. He can only have HD now that he is no longer in ICU. Dave had PT this afternoon and stood 3 times! The therapist said she can tell Dave is getting stronger and she is having to help support him less and less! Thank you for your continued prayers.

THIS IS GOOD NEWS! THANK YOU FOR KEEPING US SO WELL INFORMED...WE CONTINUE TO PRAY.
BECAUSE HE LIVES,
DEL AND LINDA
Dave, Diane and kids.
We appreciate the continual updates on the progress and prayer needs that Dave has. Please let him know that we are thinking of him and pray for continued improvement. Hopefully in a few weeks we can get him to one of Mollie's games across town. Better yet if he is at home and we can drop off a video to watch.

Wonderful news! The standing and getting stronger is so encouraging!
We continue to lift you up Dave, and all the rest of your "support crew" also.
Love and prayers,
Mike and Jeanie
Hey Dave,
Glad you dodged the bone marrow test. Did you ever think oatmeal would be a treat? Grandma Kring's was pretty good though. We all continue to pray for you. Do you remember Susan Brooks (Maine), my friend from Cottey? She asks if you can use an ipod and head phones during the long nights. There's people praying everywhere!
Love you all!

Good Morning Dave and Dian.
I read Mary's note and thought it
was so interesting that she mentioned Grandma Kring. I dreamt
of her a few nights ago and it
was interesting she had more hair
and she was sitting with a dress on
and she never wore a dress. She was
smiling while I talked away to her
and she was playing with the
print on her dress. So very much
like her. Dave I have had trouble
sleeping at night latley and I think the Lord is waking me to pray for you. My biggest heartfilled prayer is that you
will have 3-4 good, low pain days
and that He would minister lovingly
to Dian. Think of you every day
and pray for you and yours all the
time.
My love,
Tammy
Praise God for good news! Thank you for the continued updates, it is so good to be able to pray effectively. God hears and answers prayers for Dave daily. God is so good! Love, Larry and Barb
PRAISE THE LORD!! I have to admit that the news of having a bone marrow test scared me a lot, but I praise Him that you didn't have to go through that. Rejoicing that you're getting stronger! We will continue to pray for you and your family. We love you so much!
Love,
Jon & Erica
