Tuesday, July 15th

Morning update: Dave's white blood count went down to 41,000!!! His temperature is at 99.3! Because Dave's hiccups lasted sooooo long they have not put in a central line yet. However, Dave doesn't have hiccups today! They put a temporary line in his right wrist, which they have already taken out and put back again. They are still wanting to do the central line. We don't have any word on the results from the possible blood clot in his left arm. We've asked, more than once :), and we still don't know. Dave is very tired this morning because of dialysis. They would like to be able to keep him on dialysis for 24 hours. Please pray the dialysis is effective.

We continue to check the blog daily and keep you all in our prayers. God truely understands what each of you are going through. He loves and cares about each of you and we pray that that helps bring you all peace.

Brother Dave,

I so admire your spirit to keep fighting, especially when every day seems to bring new medical mysteries and huge challenges. Nothing about this last month has been easy for you or your family, but we know God has brought miracles to you all. He is and has been steadfast.

I pray for wisdom for your doctors and continued strength for you and Diane and Jiree and Nate and Traci and Brad.

I am thankful for the giving spirit of so many people who have helped in so many ways.

I am in awe of the testimony to faith in our God that has been shown through this blog.

Much love and God bless,

Marva

While I'm sure it can be frusting for everyone involved at this yo-yo game of good health/bad health, when I think back to where Dave was ... it is evident that God is aware and watching over it all. We will continue to pray for you all.

2 Samuel 22:7 NIV
In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came to his ears.

So many are crying out to the Lord for you, Dave. For your doctors' wisdom, for you and your family's strength to endure, for continued improvement. We are continuously amazed by His faithfulness, His care, His concern and His love. We are praying for you and yours, Dave. I thank God that you all belong to Him and have him to lean on.

Keeping you all in prayer,

Jan & Les

Praise God for no more hiccups! You all are learning joy in the little things, aren't you? We will be praying--as are many others.
Love to all,
Cal and Bonnie
