Sunday, July 20th

Morning update: This morning, Dave's WBC is 20,000. Getting closer to normal range, PTL! Dave's hemoglobin is down this morning. It is 7.6, the lowest it has been. The doctors are a little baffled as to why Dave's hemoglobin is low. Dave will receive more blood today. Dave will have PT today. Please continue to pray for Dave's physical strength. He often gets discouraged during PT due to his lack of strength. Dave was nauseous this morning and threw up. Please continue to pray for his upset stomach. On a side note, since I went back to work, Jiree has been updating the blog during the week. Thanks sis!

So good to see Dave out in the sunshine. We continue to pray for healing and recovery including physical strength. We were reminded this morning again of God's total sovereignty, not only over the nations, but over each and every child of His. He is a God to be worshiped and glorified. Hugs to all of you...Love, Brad & Jackie

It is so good to see a picture of Dave (and Di!) looking more and more like himself. I love that smile! I am so proud of you, Big Bro. You have always been an inspiration to me, now is certainly no exception! Keep plugging along. You are making tremendous progress. Those little successes keep adding up! Try to let up a little on the doctors, Dave. I think you have given them enough case studies for the Med Center for a decade! I am so thankful God is in charge! With God, you two are unbeatable! Keep fighting - it's worth it! I love you, brother!

Love the picture outside, and the pictures of Dave's "support group" at the bottom of the blog that I had not noticed before!
We continue to rejoice with each step toward Dave's complete recovery, and to uplift all of you in prayer. God is in control, we cling to that promise.

Nice picture Diana and Dave! So good to see you both outside getting some fresh air! I too, had not seen the pictures towards the beginning of the blog. They are good! I'm glad to see you all are getting some sleep! Prayers your way always! And keep on keeping strong! God has a plan! He is all knowing! (Nice job on the blog Jiree! Sorry you had to go back to work Traci. I'm sure that wasn't easy. But Jiree, I am so grateful to God that you are able to continue being there for both your mom and your dad, as well as all of us, to keep us so well informed!

It was so good to see the 2 of you yesterday! I was so blessed by your desire for the Lord to be glorified in your lives and to hear His love for you is manifested in what you say. I know you're discouraged Dave, don't give up. He is your strength and your shield during the most difficult minutes. In light of eternity, this is nothing. We love you both so much and will continue praying for you each and every day!

Love,
Jon & Erica Dykes
