Surgery #4
Dave is going to have surgery tomorrow, Thursday, June 26th around 10:30am. The doctors are going to check everything over and wash out his stomach cavity. They are also going to remove the stint they put in during Surgery #2, ERCP, as it is not necessary anymore. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, clarity of the results, and a quick recovery for Dave.

Lord, I just lift up Uncle Dave to you right now. I ask that you heal his body. You are the Great Physician, God, and I ask that Dave and his family be able to see you as such in Dave's body. Be with the doctor's and nurses tomorrow. Guide their every move, word, and thought. Comfort Diane, Jiree, Traci, Brad, and Nate, and everyone else close to Dave that is hurting through this too. Thank you for your unending grace, God. Thank you that "all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." We love you Lord, and we put our trust in you.

We are praying for Dave and your family that pain is lessoned, healing begins, and although a long road you are all held in God's hands. As the word is spread about Dave so is His word through the prayer warriors.
Your cousin, Penne Hanus, sent me your blog website. I am so saddened to hear of your suffering and I am keeping all of you in my prayers. I have felt the power of prayer in my life and I pray for you to not only have the healing that everyone is praying for you, but that all of you are feeling the comfort that only He can give at the truly tough times. Even though you don't know me, I want you to know that I join all the others who will be praying for you and watching your progress on your website.
Words of life and faith have victory over sin and death. . . praying and believing the PROMISES of God over Dave.

God is holding Dave and everyone of you in his hands today. His hands are guiding the surgeons and nurses during his surgery. Angels area wrapping themselves around you so you may be comforted while waiting. Praying that Dave has a positive outcome from his surgery and infection goes away. Praying that God gives you strength and peace.

I do not know what to say. I got to know you all very well during the Mexicali trip. I want to become a surgeon to help people situations like Dave, but right know all can do and will be doing is praying to the Lord.
