Monday, November 10th
Dave just got home from Hy-Vee. He worked for 3 hours this afternoon! Being on his feet for 3 hours combined with a good workout during PT this morning has made him pretty tired. All in all Dave is thankful to be able to be back at work! Thanks for your continued prayers!
Thursday, November 6th
Dave had an appointment yesterday with his family doctor in Lincoln. Dr Bertolini gave him the okay to go back to work on Monday, with instructions only to work 2-3 hours a day! Dave is looking forward to getting back to his normal every day routine.
This morning when Dave woke up he noticed the stitch in his blake drain had come undone and the tube had migrated out of his abdomen about 3 inches. He went to the doctors' office in Lincoln to push the tube back in place and re-stitch it. When the doctor took the bag off the tube fell completely out of his abdomen. They called Dr Grant, liver doc in Omaha, and she said to go ahead and leave the tube out! Dave is now down to 2 tubes! PTL!!!
